By purchasing any product or service from this website, you have deemed to have read, understand and agree to all of the information provided below, including stipulations and processes, and you will also agree to read and adhere to all information contained found in the product manuals in the support section of this website (found elsewhere).
Delivery
Items are sold and delivered within New Zealand only, and are dispatched from our New Zealand warehouse.
For in-stock items:
- orders received before 11am are dispatched the same day;
- orders received after 11am are dispatched the next working day.
For back-order items, orders are dispatched once they become available.
Deliveries are made using PBT Couriers or NZ Post Couriers, and take around 2 days in the North Island and normally 3-4 days in the South Island – although actual delivery timeframes are dependant on the couriers and this is out of our control. Please remember that rural deliveries can take longer at time. Also once goods leave our warehouse we are at the mercy of the courier companies and can’t be held responsible for delays by the courier.
Orders are not picked or sent over weekends.
Delivery fees are $10 per order nationwide, or free for orders over $500.
Returns Policy
We do not offer a refund if you change your mind. At our discretion we may allow return of the product in exchange for another of the same value. It must be unopened and in the original packaging accompanied by your receipt. You must ensure we receive the products and please note that return shipping is at your cost for any exchange. Once we receive the returned products, we will check the product to ensure packaging is in original condition and product hasn’t been opened. We cannot offer an exchange or refund for any opened or used products. If we have made an error on your order, we will reimburse you for any return shipping costs.
We handle all returns and process repairs, replacements, or refunds in accordance with Consumer Law. Our liability for our products is limited to: the supplying of the products or services to you again; the replacement of the products; or the payment of the cost of having the products or services supplied to you again.
If there is a concern with an order please contact us. If the concern cannot be resolved over the phone, and an item should be returned, then:
- You will be provided with a returns number.
- Return the product in full original packaging with a note detailing the issue, along with full contact details and a contact name, to our Auckland Service Centre at:

Please note the customer is responsible for paying to return an item to our service department in Auckland.
Our service centre is not open to walk-in traffic.
Once receiving your product, the service department will place the job in a que to diagnose the issue report back to the manufacturer regarding issue to confirm if this is a manufacturing issue that will be covered under warranty, or otherwise. The manufacturer and service department cannot make any final decision unless the product is returned to us & has been properly diagnosed. If the product is not returned then we cannot offer warranty.
Warranty
All Gear Junkie products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase as shown on the proof of purchase. If your product is repaired or refurbished it will have a six month warranty from the repair date.
If there is a discrepancy between the warranty information on this page and the length of warranty or terms stated on the warranty card or in the instruction manual included with the product (as this is often information intended for other markets) then the information on this website is valid.
The warranty applies only when the product is used as intended and under normal conditions. The warranty does not apply when damage is caused by wear and tear, accidents, corrosive substances, water, misuse, neglect, or where the battery life runs out. In all cases the warranty is limited to the value of the product. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Please Also note that:
- Flat tires and punctures are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered under warranty.
- All Batteries have a 3 month warranty (either inside a product, or sold seperately)
- All Accessory product have a 6 month warranty.
- If you drain your scooter or drone battery and it will subsequently not charge any longer, then this means you have damaged the battery and it will not be covered under manufacturers warranty.

Promotions and Discounts
Only one promotion or discount applies to any single item at a time. If two or more promotions apply only one can be used. In the event of a discrepancy the one that results in the lower overall order value will apply.
Free shipping applies to all overs over $500 after discounts have been applied.
